This was our first pantomime and was performed in the Salón de Actos, Casa de Cultura which has been our principal venue ever since.  The story was altered so that, instead of a glass slipper, the prince’s lucky wife had to speak fluent Spanish.  This gave rise to much audience participation as the ugly sisters failed to name basic items on flash cards produced by Dandini the prince’s messenger.  A group of children from Los Pinos school acted as mice and danced to “Living the Vida Loca” at the beginning of the panto.
